The braiding consists of Parachute Cord.
Type III Cord - also called 550 cord - has a diameter of 4mm and a breaking load of approx. 249kg or 550 American pounds - the origin of the name '550' cord. It is made of 100% nylon and consists of seven core and 32 sheath threads.
Our Type III Cord does not rot, dries quickly, does not fade, and is washable at approx. 30°C.

We use original Biothane® from the USA!
It is particularly tear-resistant, scratch-resistant, and uniquely robust. And that in any weather! Your collar is handcrafted in our manufactory.
It is riveted, not screwed!
