Important information about the muzzle

Our muzzles are made of soft Biothane® and therefore ensure comfortable wear. They are not comparable to metal muzzles.

If your muzzle warps a bit, i.e., looks crooked, this is completely normal. However, you can easily straighten the muzzle again.

Biothane® is produced in the USA. It has a leather-like surface, is waterproof, tear-resistant, and easy to clean.

Why a muzzle?

Even the sweetest dog might need a muzzle.

Few dogs wear muzzles because they bite!

The most important reason to accustom a dog to a muzzle is often quite simple. Very often we go on holiday with our beloved four-legged friend. But you have to remember that in many countries it is obligatory to carry a muzzle.
Even when you want to travel by cable car, train, or bus, a muzzle is compulsory for every breed.

Furthermore, there is another reason...
Unfortunately, we see it far too often!

Protect your dog by having your darling wear a muzzle.

Start muzzle training long before your outing. Then your dog will already know it and accept it as soon as he has to wear it.

The fitting...

Please clean the dog's snout before fitting and only try on the muzzle if a second person holds the dog somewhat, so that the rivets remain intact and do not get scratched. Dogs usually try to remove the muzzle with their paws and then press it to the ground. Please avoid this at all costs.

Please note that with black rivets, the color may come off with use! This is not a reason for complaint!

Should your muzzle not fit after all...
A return/exchange is only possible within 14 days of receipt if the muzzle is clean and the rivets are not scratched. Please include a copy of the invoice with your return and add a small note.

Personalized muzzles are excluded from exchange, return and cancellation!

Measuring a muzzle correctly...

For your muzzle to fit correctly, you should measure the circumference of the snout diagonally along the folds, and the length of the nose from between the eyes to the tip of the nose. It is important to measure diagonally, where the muzzle will later sit.
This works best with a tape measure. The measurement should not be too loose or too tight. The panting allowance is already included in my muzzles.
