Type III cord - also called 550 cord - has a diameter of 3.8mm.
It is made of polyester and consists of seven core and 32 sheath strands.
Our Type III cord is particularly tear-resistant and is excellent for bracelets, survival bracelets, dog collars, dog leashes, horse halters, bridles, lead ropes and much more.
Our Type III cord does not rot, dries quickly, does not fade, and is washable at approx. 30°C.
Despite the best quality, this product is not suitable for rappelling or personal safety.
