The braiding is made of Parachute Cord.
Type III Cord - also known as 550 cord - has a diameter of 4mm and a breaking strength of approx. 249kg or 550 US pounds - the origin of the name '550' cord. It is made of 100% nylon and consists of seven core and 32 sheath strands.
Our Type III cord does not rot, dries quickly, does not fade, and is washable at approx. 30°C.

We use original Biothane® from the USA!
It is particularly tear-resistant, scratch-resistant, and truly uniquely robust. And that in any weather! Your collar is handmade in our manufactory.
