Biothane® was used for the inner core. It is very stable.

Biothane® is produced in the USA. It has a leather-like surface, is waterproof, tear-resistant, and easy to clean. BETA Standard is flat and has a thickness of approx. 2.4 - 2.7mm.

The braiding consists of Parachute Cord.
The Type III Cord - also known as 550 cord - has a diameter of 4mm and a breaking strength of approx. 249kg or 550 American pounds - the origin of the name '550' cord. It is made of 100% nylon and consists of seven core and 32 sheath strands.
Our Type III Cord does not rot, dries quickly, does not fade, and is washable at approx. 30°C.
