The braiding is made of Parachute Cord.
Type III Cord - also called 550 Cord - has a diameter of 4mm and a breaking load of approx. 249kg or 550 US pounds - the origin of the name '550' Cord. It is made of 100% nylon and consists of seven core and 32 sheath threads.
Our Type III Cord does not rot, dries quickly, does not fade, and is washable at approx. 30°C.
